This policy explains exactly when refunds are available for our one-time website build fee and our monthly maintenance plans, how to cancel, and what happens if a payment is disputed. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Scale Up Digital charges two distinct types of fees: a one-time website build fee, and an ongoing monthly maintenance subscription. Each is refunded under different conditions, set out below. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our merchant of record, and refunds — where owed — are issued back to your original payment method through Paddle.
2.1 Before development begins. If you cancel in writing before we have started design or development work on your site, you are entitled to a full refund of the $899 build fee.
2.2 After development begins. Because of our expedited 24-hour delivery model, development typically begins within hours of payment. Once development work has commenced, the $899 build fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether you ultimately choose to launch the completed site.
2.3 Dissatisfaction with the preview. If you are not satisfied with your free preview before paying, you owe nothing and may walk away at no cost — the $899 fee is only charged once you approve the preview and choose to proceed.
3.1 Cancel anytime. You may cancel your monthly plan at any time, with no long-term contract and no cancellation fee.
3.2 Effective date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain access to your plan's features through the end of the period you've already paid for.
3.3 No partial refunds. We do not provide prorated or partial refunds for any unused portion of a billing cycle. If you cancel mid-cycle, your plan remains active until the cycle ends, with no further charges afterward.
3.4 Upgrading or downgrading. You may switch between the Standard ($149) and Growth ($199) plans at any time; the new rate applies from your next billing cycle.
To request a refund or cancel your subscription, email scaleupdigital964@gmail.com with your business name and the email address used at checkout. We aim to respond to all refund and cancellation requests within 2 business days.
If you have a billing concern, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most billing issues can be resolved directly and faster than a formal dispute. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your website and services while the dispute is investigated, and we reserve the right to submit evidence of service delivery (including delivery timestamps, correspondence, and site analytics) to Paddle and your card issuer to contest invalid disputes. Refunds owed under this policy will always be issued directly and do not require a chargeback.
The following are non-refundable under any circumstance: work delivered and approved prior to a cancellation request; any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (such as premium stock assets or a purchased domain, where applicable); and any billing cycle that has already fully elapsed at the time of a cancellation request.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Changes apply to purchases made after the update; they do not retroactively change the terms of a payment already made.
